Our associate Krystallia Iatridou participated as a speaker at the Gaming Money Conference 2011 which took place in Athens on 29 November 2011. The Gaming Money Conference concentrates on the contemporary issue with regards to the present and the future of the gaming industry in Greece. Executives from both the public and the private sector presented their views on the developments that mark both the new regulations on gambling, as well as the sought after privatization targets by the Greek government in the specific sector.

Krystallia participated in PANEL II of the conference related to the opportunities and prospects for the regulated gaming market and commented on the new regulatory framework and the consequences over the fine imposed by the European Court of Justice due to the general ban on gaming machines in 2002, on the role of the Gaming Supervision and Control Commission and on the added value to the Greek Economy following the recent regulation of the gaming market.
