Our associate Maria Giannakaki will present the training course “Privacy and anonymity in the electronic communications sector”, organized by the MF Group of Companies on the 28th and 29th of May 2012, 17:00-22:00, at the MF Training Center 58, Panepistimiou street, Athens.
The training course is addressed to HR, IT executives and legal counsels who work in the electronic communications private or public sector, such as electronic communication providers, publishing houses, newspapers, financial institutions, insurance companies, as well as any other company which collects and processes data and/or wishes to use to promote products/services through the use of Information and Communication Technologies.
This practical training session provides a thorough understanding of the key issues relating to privacy and anonymity in the electronic communications sector, as well a practical approach on the core concepts of the new law 4070/2012 implementing Directive 2009/136/EC and the Regulation nr. 165/2011 of the Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (“ADAE”), especially in relation to data breach notifications, cookies, traffic and location data anonymization, data retention and security policies.
